The workshop in Lisbon was very useful for understanding how to manage digital change in education. We learned a lot about setting up digital systems and dealing with data security, including how to handle GDPR. The visit to Beato’s Creative Hub showed us real examples of digital technology in action, which was very inspiring. This workshop has given us a lot of practical knowledge that we can use to improve our digital projects at ITC.

The Dx.SEA project's second Project Workshop brought together Southeast Asian stakeholders to collaborate on understanding and addressing the digital transformation needs of higher education institutions in the region. Hosted by the University of Granada, the workshop focused on reviewing the outcomes of the needs analysis and extended survey conducted by the university. It also involved verifying the identified needs with representatives from Malaysia, Cambodia, and Laos and finalizing the critical digital transformation priorities for those countries. Notably, the workshop provided a valuable opportunity for senior management staff from the University of Heng Samrin Thbongkhmum, UHST, to provide input on the focus areas that should be covered in the following training modules, including change management, digital learning, governance, and policy, and strategic planning and leadership for digital transformation. This collaborative process will help ensure the Dx.SEA project's training and support offerings are closely aligned with the specific needs and challenges higher education institutions across Southeast Asia face as they navigate their digital transformation journeys.

The workshop hosted in Lisbon provided the university representatives with a wealth of practical insights to support their institutions' digital transformation efforts. Beyond just conceptual discussions, the program equipped the senior management team with tangible strategies for driving staff training and change management around digital innovation. Additionally, the opportunity to tour the Beato's Creative Hub for digital innovation gave us concrete ideas and inspiration for establishing similar hubs of digital excellence at our home universities. Overall, this Lisbon workshop proved to be a golden learning experience, equipping the senior leaders with the knowledge, skills, and real-world examples needed to effectively shepherd their institutions through the digital evolution transforming higher education.

The workshop in Spain, hosted by University of Granada. We are aware of and comprehend the findings of the evaluation of staff and students' Internet access, usage, and capacity across the three nations of Malaysia, Cambodia, and Laos. Specifically, there are still a lot of areas in which Laos has to improve, including its Internet infrastructure, classroom computer equipment, and other educational resources. We have organized concepts future training planning such as organizational leadership planning techniques, change management, digital learning policies, and a vision for digital learning transformation leaders to facilitate the increased use of digital in education. On final day, we went to a stunning historic town in Granada where we saw the preservation of the ancient history of humankind for study and learning by future generations.

We get more idea about digital systems, data security and how to apply the technology to business from Beato’s Creative Hub. The Savannakhet University, it is need to adapt from traditional learning into digital learning in university level, we also appreciate that we are ready to learn from partnership or our network to try the moving our university to be digital university. For future, we would like to continue this project we known that it is benefit and we must to foster about cooperation in part of staffs, admin, others facilitate, it is very important that we establish the capacity together between our university.
