FRIDAY, 29 APRIL – Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS) through the Student Affairs Department recently held a handing-over ceremony of assistance to fire victims of Kampung Titingan, Tawau.

UMS also had during the ceremony handed over eye lenses to disabled students with vision problem.

The aid was delivered by the Vice-Chancellor of UMS, Professor Datuk Dr. Mohd Harun Abdullah and the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Student Affairs and Alumni), Associate Professor Dr. Ismail Ali, at the Chancellery Building, UMS.

At the event, Teoh Jia Long received vision aids, whilst Muhd Faizal Alimudin and Fatimah Binti Asmuni, both fire victims that happened in Tawau recently were given financial help to ease the burden of the affected family. – MA (fl)
