IMPORTANT NOTICE: UNIVERSITY WIRELESS NETWORK SERVICES UPGRADING
 
Department of Information Technology and Communications is now conducting upgrading the wireless network services as follows.
 
1. Installation of wireless hardware in JFPIU.
2. Hardware testing and Wifi integration.
 
The activity is expected to be completed on December 29 2016.
There will be service disruption during the process.

Subject
: ICRC Competition
 
The students of the International Relations Programme of the Faculty of Humanities, Arts and Heritage, joins this year's ICRC-UKM Role Playing Competition at the Faculty of Law at the Faculty of Law, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. The Competition  is being held from November 11 to 13 where nine universities are competing. This is the first time that Universiti Malaysia Sabah is participating in this event.
 
The members of the UMS team are Azwa Abdul Kahar, Ermah Gusman Alonto, Azlanshah Suriansah and Dr. Ayesah Uy Abubakar as their coach. All student members have completed their courses on International Humanitarian Law and Human Rights as part of their preparation for this competition.
 
ICRC has organised this role playing competition among students in institutions of higher learning in order to strengthen the teaching and practice of IHL in Malaysia and in many other parts of the world. Last year's competition was won by the team from UKM. As a prize, the UKM team participated in the competition in Paris, France.
