SUBJECT: FPSK MEDICAL CONVO FIESTA 2018
 
Dear all,
 
We take great pleasure in inviting you to the FPSK Medical Convo Fiesta 2018. This event is organised by Faculty of Medicine & Health Sciences, UMS with Persatuan Perubatan Desa Sabah (PERDESA), Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Cluster KIK UMS, Malaysian Medical Association, Medical Students Association (MEDSTAS) and Asian Medical Student's Association (AMSA) in conjunction with the UMS 20th Convocation Ceremony 2018. The details of the event are as below:
 
            Date    : 22 & 23 November 2018 (Thursday and Friday)
            Time    : 9:30am – 5:00pm
            Venue : Dataran Alumni, FPSK
 
 
CPR & Choking Rescue Free Training, Cancer Screening, Body Composition Analysis, Ergonomic Demonstration, CDC/Malaria, Mental Health Screening, Women Health, Blood Donation, Organ Donor Registration, Physical Fitness Test, Lung Function Test, Safe Delivery, Wound Care, Anatomy Model Exhibition, Health Screening, Quit Smoking and Bone Density Scan are among the activities! 
 
Apart from this, there will be Medical Museum Visit, Lab visit, DaVinci Exhibition, Medical Emergency Response Team (MERT-UMS) Exhibiton, Kumpulan Inovatif dan Kreatif (KIK) booth, Malaysian Medical Association (MMA) Booth and Free Market (where you can bring whatever you don't need and let others to have it for FREE). 
 
All the above activities and services are FREE and OPEN TO PUBLIC! All staff are welcome to bring your friends and family to make the event more exciting and wonderful!

Announcement From: Foundation For Environmental Education(FEE) UMS
Subject: Strawless Awareness Run 2018
 
 
A big shout out to all the students out there!!?? *Foundation For Environmental Education(FEE) UMS* collaborating with *Youth Leadership For Sustainability (YL4S)* is organizing a Strawless Awareness Run??. The main objective of this programme is to give awareness regarding the impact of single-used plastic to the environment and importance of avoiding it. This run is a remarkable step for student to start reduce and slowly stop using plastic straw.
 
The details of the run are as below,
 
Date      : 17th November 2018
Time     : 6.30 am to 11.00 am
Venue   : Auditorium Pascasiswazah, Universiti Malaysia Sabah
 
The registration for the run is divided into two categories :
 
Early Bird (Student)   : RM 40.00
Early Bird (Public)      : RM 50.00
Late Bird (Student)    : RM 45.00
Late Bird (Public)       : RM 55.00
 
Race pack include:

+ T-shirt, Button badge and Goody bag ??
+ SDP provided to the participants (UMS students)?
+ Certificates will be given to the participants?
