Kindly be informed, 2019 RBS Medical Research Grant Application have been closed on 23rd December 2019. A further deliberation by RBS Steering Committee has agreed to extend the RBS Medical Research Grant Application until 31st January 2020 (Friday).
Therefore, ASM wishes to invite the Malaysian young scientists who undertake Medical or Biomedical Research from your institution to apply for the 2019/2020 RBS Research Grant at https://www.mytopscientists.org/v2/default.aspx. The applications received later than the deadline shall not be considered.
Enclosed herewith are the 2019/2020 RBS Medical Research Grant Open for Call Document and Summary of Instruction for RBS Research Grant Application for reference (Attachment 1 & 2).

Assalamualaikum and salam sejahtera,
Referring to the title above, the management has decided to organize a weekly FPSK CME session.
The objectives of the CME sessions are:
The CMEs will be given by FPSK staff and opened to all UMS staff. A list of speakers among FPSK lecturers will be appointed later.
The CMEs will be conducted every Friday, 8 am - 9 am in Main Auditorium FPSK.
IDP points will be given.
All FPSK staff are welcomed to attend and become speakers in our upcoming CME sessions.

Subject: Advisory For Malaysian In The Gulf Region
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is monitoring with deep concern the current volatile situation in the Gulf region.
The Ministry wishes to advise Malaysians residing or currently traveling in the region to be more vigilant and take necessary precaution to ensure their safety and security. They are strongly encouraged to keep themselves abreast with state of security situation in the areas they reside or visit.
Malaysians who have yet to register themselves with the Malaysian diplomatic mission, they should do so without delay with the nearest Embassy or Consulate General of Malaysia to facilitate communication with them should a need arise. Registration may be done via e-mail. The details of the Malaysian Embassies/ Consulates General in the Middle East and Gulf region can be accessed from the following website https://www.kln.gov.my/web/guest/malaysian-mission.
Due to the temporary closures of the Malaysian Embassies in Iraq, Syria and Yemen, registration and consular services are provided through the following Embassies:
The Ministry also wishes to advise Malaysians to defer nonessential travel to the region, in particular to areas where security situation is critical.
The Ministry will continue to undertake thorough assessments of the evolving situation, and will from time to time issue advisory to Malaysians in the region.
