Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS) acknowledges the invaluable contribution of the media in helping to disseminate information about the university’s activities and programs.

UMS Deputy Vice Chancellor (Student Affairs and Alumni), Assoc. Prof. Dr. Raman Noordin stated that the university’s management will continue to strengthen its existing relationship with the media, particularly through sports and recreational activities that foster closer ties between media personnel and UMS staff.

He emphasized that this strong relationship with the media helps in resolving issues by spreading relevant information effectively.

Dr. Raman made the comments during a friendly football match between the Sabah Journalist Association (SJA) and UMS management at the UMS Stadium recently.

Also present at the event was the Director of UMS Corporate Communications Centre, Dr. Jakaria Dasan.
