About SICC

The Sabah International Convention Centre (SICC) is Kota Kinabalu’s events destination which aims to contribute to the Sabah state’s economic development by partnering with local community and integrating sustainable practices in our venue operations. SICC is owned by Innoprise Corporation Sdn. Bhd., a subsidiary of Yayasan Sabah Group. The Yayasan Sabah Group is a Sabah State Government Statutory Body incorporated to provide educational opportunities and facilities to Malaysians in Sabah. Accor Group is the appointed hospitality operations consultant for SICC.

SICC is the largest waterfront purpose-built convention, exhibition and entertainment facility in East Malaysia. The complex’s gross built-up is 60,504sqm on a 6-hectare site, with a total function space of 153,197sqm. The multifunctional complex with its well-designed floor plan and extensive pre-function areas is well suited for a wide range of public and private events; conventions and international congress, consumer and tradeshows, public exhibitions and product launches, world-class performing arts events and live music events, exclusive cocktails, wedding banquet and gala dinners, AGM, corporate meetings, seminars and workshops for corporate or government.

Kota Kinabalu is a city situated strategically in the West Coast of the Malaysian state of Sabah. Locals here often refers Kota Kinabalu as ‘KK’ in short. KK is a charming modern city offering international-standard hotels and resorts. KK is also the gateway to one of Southeast Asia’s tallest mountains, Mount Kinabalu and also serves as the gateway to the rest of Sabah.
