Visitors can have a glimpse of what lies beneath the waves. The first hand experince of the wonders of the ocean life in the aquarium and the messafe that they carry promote love for the sea and its rich biodiversity, for the sake of the earth, for us and for future generations.
Arrangements inside the aquarium section display ecosystems as complex communities of organisms interacting in their environment for a unique learning experince. The excellent educational tools develop an understanding of the interconnectedness of all living things and awareness that the sea is an integral part of our existence, needing protection.
The Aquarium & Museum was established :
• To facilitate an interactive, fascinating and worthwhile teaching and learning experience related to marine life in a conducive environment.
• To create public awareness on the importance of marine ecosystem that could instill a sense of respect towards marine environment.
• To inculcate a clear understanding of the importance of the marine environment in the life of mankind and of the consequences of irresponsible actions.
• To facilitate research on aquarium live-feed production and nutrition, aquatic animal health, life-support system and to train human resources in aquarium management.
