Introduction
In 2005, Medical Collection was established to provide reference materials for the School of Medicine or popularly known as SPU. Upon completion of the school buildings which is now known as the Faculty of Medicine and Health Science, the Medical Collection in the main library was relocated at Level 2 and 3, Block B. Medical Library opens its door to users on the 15th August 2011. As of January 2019, we are now known as Medical and Hospital Library.

Presently the library collection consist of;

  • Health Sciences
  • In addition to the physical collection information which can be access via UMS Library Opac, users can access the electronic resources via the e-resources page.

Sandakan Campus Library

Introduction
In 2011, Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS) Library established its branch at the Faculty of Sustainable Agriculture, Sandakan. The branch began its operations in the same year and has continued to serve the campus community until today.

A new library building project was initiated in 2016 and successfully completed on 30 July 2018. Since then, the branch has been officially recognized as the UMS Sandakan Campus Library. The Library opened its doors to users on 12 September 2018, providing a dedicated and modern learning hub for students, staff, and the surrounding community.

Library Collection

The Sandakan Campus Library supports the teaching and research needs of the Faculty of Sustainable Agriculture. Its collections focus on the following subject areas:

  • Crop Production
  • Horticulture and Landscaping
  • Livestock Production


In addition to the physical collection (accessible via UMS Library Discovery), users are able to explore a wide range of electronic resources through the Library’s e-resources portal.

Labuan International Campus Library

Introduction
This branch was set up in 1999 to support the teaching and learning for the Labuan Faculty of International Finance and Faculty of Computing and Informatics. The location is at the Support Building area of 2.184 square meters which can accommodate up to 250 users in one time. Labuan International Campus Library opens its door to users on the January 1999.
