Who are we?
We are the Centre for Industrial Collaboration and Engagement (CICE) and serve as a ONE-STOP CENTRE to focus on effectively initiating and managing strategic partnerships with the industry by way of creating a ‘win-win’ platform for impactful collaboration and engagement outcomes based on RELEVANCE to current national development agenda.
CICE’s role includes initiating the common needs of UMS and the industry in terms of sharing or transferring knowledge and technology to support the sustainable development of BOTH the university’s and its industry partner’s capability and capacity. The expected impact shall contribute towards enhancing the university’s VISIBILITY and REPUTATION in terms of staff expertise benefiting its progressive aspirations for excellence.

Coordinate and manage data related to industrial training programs.

Coordinate and manage industrial networking initiatives by the Ministry of Higher Education;

Increase the visibility & reputation of the university's academic expertise in the industry- CICE's role as a "one-stop" solution provider;

Coordinate and manage sustainable industrial engagement programs/activities with the cooperation of other UMS centres of responsibilities/stakeholders of relevance;
FUNCTIONS

CLIENT CHARTER

- To match the potential industry collaboration with the relevant JAFPIB within 14 working days after the initial cooperation discussion session with the industry.
- To ensure the feedback on any complaint (e-Response) received will be made within three (3) working days.
