The Psychology and Social Health Research Unit was officially established on 30th December 1997 through the 9th UMS Council Meeting as a centre of excellence in research under the School of Psychology and Social Work (SPKS) (presently known as Faculty of Psychology and Education, FPP). UPPsiKS focuses in the field of Psychological Well-Being, Clinical Psychology, Cross-Cultural Psychology, Multi-Cultural, Indigenous Psychology as well as Psychological Testing and Measurement. Apart from that, UPPsiKS also offer training, courses, services/consultations and community services to researchers, academicians, administrators, organizations as well as undergraduates and postgraduates.
