
UMS was represented by nine Republic of Timor-Leste international students and one local student who captured the hearts of the judges through a combination of the Magunatip dance performance and Timor-Leste Warrior Dance.
Loud cheers were heard from the audience in attendance ensuring the victory of the team who brought home a trophy, cash prize and certificate of participation.
The award was presented by the Chief Executive Officer of the Malaysian Higher Education Officer, Hazally Jali.
Held this morning at the car park of the Ministry of Education (MoE) Malaysia building, the competition was an annual event jointly organised by the Ministry of Higher Education and Nilai University.
The programme which will end this Sunday, also showcased a variety of presentations including singing competition from the region and internationally. – SS (fl)
