The Centre for the Promotion of Knowledge and Language Learning (PPIB), Universiti Malaysia Sabah is proud to announce the hosting of the 3^rd International Conference on Language, Linguistics and Society (ICLALIS 2021). The Conference will be conducted virtually on 14 and 15 September 2021 at Universiti Malaysia Sabah in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia.

ICLALIS 2021 welcomes submissions for paper presentation on the conference theme: ‘Empowering and Engaging Society in Diverse Language and Linguistics Research’.

SCOPE

The focus of the Conference is anchored on the fields of language, linguistics and society. Abstracts are invited for the following sub-themes:

Language of Conference

Abstract, presentation and paper are accepted either in English or Malay.

Conference Fees

Presenter (Student)                        : RM200.00

Presenter (Non-student)              : RM300.00

Participant                                          : RM150.00

Abstract submission deadline                     : June 17, 2021 (Thursday)                          

Full paper submission deadline                  : August 19, 2021 (Thursday)

Full payment deadline                                   : August 19, 2021 (Thursday)

Publication

This Conference will publish one e-abstract and one e-proceeding (with E-ISBN). Selected papers will be published in the MANU Journal Special Edition (MyCite-indexed) (E-ISSN 2590-4086).
