The UMS Accounting Centre was officially established on 16 October 2006 with the following objectives:
- To enhance the competency and marketability of UMS accounting graduates;
- To become a centre for Continuing Professional Education for accounting;
- To promote Transperancy, Integrity and Ethics in Business and society;
- To conduct international, market-driven accounting research and consulting.
