Introduction
Internationalization Unit of Faculty of Medicine & Health Sciences, Universiti Malaysia Sabah was established to support globalisation, international networking and collaborative efforts of students and staff toimprove the visibility and impact of the faculty
Objectives
- To encourage national and international academic partnerships with industries, governmental bodies,and other organisations
- To facilitate establishments and oversee collaboration agreements (MOU/MOA)
- To increase overall visibility of Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, Universiti Malaysia Sabah
- Promoting medical-tourism for Sabah
- Engaging local and international communities in Sabah through outreach programmes
- Incorporates motivations for assimilating an international element into university
What We Offer?
- Support and engage in national and international collaborations
- Facilitate international postings for staff and students for the faculty
- Improve the faculty’s visibility at an international level
- Aid in establishing international agreements such as MoUs/MoAs/LoIs
- Coordinate and organise programmes intended for international and national participants
- Promoting faculty’s experts in clinical and medical research fi eld at international level
- Recruiting international students into faculty academic programs including bachelors and postgraduate degress
