THURSDAY, 13 AUGUST – Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS) hosted the 41st Dean of Postgraduate Studies Meeting (MDPS), recently.The meeting held for two days was conducted at the Executive Board Meeting Room, Chancellery Building involving 40 members from the Public Universities, Universiti Tenaga Nasional (UNITEN), Universiti Teknologi Petronas (UTP), Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA), and the Scholarship Division of the Ministry of Education Malaysia.
Some members were also involved in the Roadmap for Malaysian Postgraduate Education in the Next Meeting held at the Centre for the Postgraduate Studies building.
The members also had an opportunity to mingle with the committee members of UMS at a dinner at Kampung Nelayan Restaurant, Bukit Padang.
The second day saw the members visiting the Borneo Marine Research Institute Museum and Aquarium (IPMB) after the meeting ended. -MA (fl)

TUESDAY, 11 AUGUST – The Housewives and Women Staff Club (KESUMBA) Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS) today handed over a donation amounting to RM2,000 to Aman Palestin, Sabah branch.
