The design and development of a Policy for Technology-Enabled Learning in Universiti Malaysia Sabah is intended to provide systematic supports related  to the Enhancement of Teaching and Learning, Technology and infrastructure of UMS,  Professional Development and Governance related to Technology.  This project is undertaken by Centre for E-Learning, Centre for Teaching Excellence and Academic Quality (PKPKA), and Department of Information Technology & Communication (JTMK).

 

This development started with the visioning workshop among the management of JFPIU and e-Learning Coordinators which was conducted on 19 & 20 March 2018.

 

We are now at phase 7 of the flowchart https://goo.gl/262oJb. Every academic staff is requested to “Review and Comment” on any portion of the Final Draft of “Technology Enabled Learning Policy UMS”.

It is our pleasure to inform all UMS staff that the EcoCampus Management Centre is providing electric bicycle rental service at a low rate of only RM3.00 per hour. Rental can be made at 9.00 am till 5.00 pm every Monday to Friday (except on Public Holidays) at the EcoCampus Visitor Information Centre (EVIC), Block C, Faculty of Science and Natural Resources (next to the UMS Lake).

 

In order to encourage healthy cycling activity within the UMS community, the second hour rental is provided free for each hour of rental, and the free hour(s) can be given to other cyclist(s) too. The special promotion starts today until the end of May 2018. Hurry up! Grab the golden opportunity!

 

For safety reasons, cycling safety helmets are provided free of charge (to be returned with the electric bicycles), and the usage of the electric bicycles is limited to only within the compound of the UMS Campus, Kota Kinabalu.
