ANNOUNCEMENT FROM: CENTRE FOR E-LEARNING
SUBJECT: TECHNOLOGY-ENABLED LEARNING CARNIVAL 2019
INTRODUCTION
TECHNOLOGY ENABLED LEARNING (TEL) is rapidly evolving into a driver of the education industry. Digital innovations which promote digital teaching and learning at all levels are set to disrupt conventional methods of teaching and learning. TEL CARNIVAL 2019 is a competition which will highlight the best TEL innovations at Universiti Malaysia Sabah.
The competition is motivated by the need to meet the challenges of the Sustainable Development Goal (SDG4) which emphasizes inclusive and quality education by adaptation of teaching and learning material for all learners.
Selected winners will be representing UMS in upcoming INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITY CARNIVAL ON E-LEARNING (IUCEL) 2019 at UNIMAS, Kuching Sarawak.
OBJECTIVES
- To exhibit research, creation and innovation in enhancing quality teaching and learning by lecturers and students.
- To share expertise on creative, innovative and commercial ideas.
- To cultivate interests and encourage academics/instructors, and students to develop teaching materials in line with current technological developments.
- To promote inclusive teaching and learning by adapting online learning for individual with disabilities.
