SUBJECT : BORNEO INTERDISCIPLINARY STROKE REHABILITATION WORKSHOP 2019
 
Surgical-based department of Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, UMS in collaboration with Department of Rehabilitation Medicine, Queen Elizabeth Hospital and Kelab Perubatan Rehabilitasi Sabah, will be organising the "Borneo Interdisciplinary Stroke Rehabilitation Workshop 2019" on the 11th & 12th July 2019. The workshop will be held in Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, UMS. This two-days workshop will be a great opportunity for rehabilitation healthcare members especially in the region of Borneo to improve their competencies in the delivery of stroke rehabilitation services. SUBJECT : CALL FOR PAPERS - NATIONAL GEOSCIENCE CONFERENCE 2019
 
The Geological Society of Malaysia is pleased to announce that the National Geoscience Conference 2019 (NGC 2019), 32nd in the annual conference series, will be held in Kota  Kinabalu, Sabah  from 1st to 3rd October,2019.  The   Conference   is   a   premier geoscientific event in Malaysia and the region, which is well attended by geoscientists from academia as well as the public and private sectors. NGC 2019 is co-organised with the Faculty of Science and Natural Resources, Universiti Malaysia Sabah and the Mineral and Geoscience Department Malaysia (JMG).
 
We shall be honored if you could disseminate this information to individuals in your organization and other parties who may interested in participating in this conference. Dear all,
 
We take great pleasure to invite you to the very first Lion Dance Championship in UMS and the Grand Night of Pesta Tiong Hua 2019. This event is organised by Secretariat Art and Culture of Tiong Hua University Malaysia Sabah, with collaboration from Malaysia Hong Teck Association and Sabah San Shen Gung (Hong Teck) Liondance Sport Association.

The 1st Lion Dance Championship University Malaysia Sabah will be held on 29th March (Friday) from 9:00am to 6:00pm. It is free entry for all, so don’t miss out the chance to watch the exciting and fantastic show! Meanwhile, there will be numerous exhibition on going the whole day. You will be presented the showcase of different Chinese festivals namely Chinese New Year, Mid-Autumn Festival, Winter Solstice, while enjoying the lion dance performance.
 
The Grand Night of 8th Pesta Tiong Hua will be held on the consecutive day which is 30th March (Saturday) with the theme “Arise”, which means the moment of sunrise. It indicates hopes and spirits that motivate people to move forward in our lives, also reflecting the passion and perseverance of the Chinese descendants in contributing to the broad and profound of Chinese Cultures.
 
Through 8th Pesta Tiong Hua, we Secretariat Art and Culture of Tiong Hua University Malaysia Sabah would like to share the beauty and vibrant of Chinese cultures and traditions to the diverse community.
