TUESDAY, 3 FEBRUARY – The Human Resource Division, Registrar Department has upgraded its training management system starting 2 February 2015.The system called ‘Individual Development Plan’ (IDP) will be used for the management of training for staff of Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS). All academic and non-academic staff can check the list of courses, both compulsory and elective for their reference and planning.
This can be assessed through HRONLINE using their own ID and password, starting 3 February 2015.
IDP replaces the old system called My Continuing Professional Development (MyCPD) which was a more open concept and was last used in 2014. The IDP is a more competency-based system and focuses on individual needs according to their actual job description.
The IDP needs for 2015-2016 is apportioned at 50% for compulsory, 30% elective and 20% for contributions of each individual.
