MONDAY, 26 AUGUST – Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS) Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Datuk Dr. Mohd Harun Abdullah paid a courtesy call to the Director of the Broadcasting Department (RTM) Sabah, Abdul Jalani Mahmud in Kota Kinabalu recently.

The call was to discuss collaborations which involved this EcoCampus University with the Broadcasting Station which will be celebrating their 67^th anniversary this year.

Among the topics discussed included a joint cooperation in the setting up of a new Science and Technology Preparatory Centre (PPST) UMS.

At the same time, the courtesy call was done to strengthen the long term relationship between both parties.

Also present was the Director of PPST UMS, Dr. Sazmal Effendi and UMS Deputy Bursar, Hj. Firdaus Abdullah, including the Assistant Director (Engineering and Radio), Hj. Ismail Seman. - FL
