The Biotechnology Research Institute (BRI) is one of the fastest growing institutes at Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS). Being one of the three centers of excellence (COE) in UMS, the BRI is tasked to undertake high impact strategic Biotechnology research in key areas relevant to the geographical location of the university. We focus on conducting high impact research, providing postgraduate program serving as main facility for high-end-equipment, creating an entrepreneurial culture among our scientists and serving our society and industry.
