Programme Info
This program introduces students to the field of Industrial and Organizational Psychology and issues related to organizational behaviour. The focus of the study includes job satisfaction and stress, group dynamics, interpersonal communication, employee challenges, leadership and its significant influence, prejudice and organizational discrimination, as well as organizational design and development, ergonomics, and workplace health and safety.
To broaden their exposure, students will undergo job training placements to complement their academic studies. The program aims to produce graduates who are resilient and skilled in Industrial and Organizational Psychology. Graduates of this program can pursue careers in both the public and private sectors as personnel or welfare officers in industries, research assistants, tutors or lecturers in higher education institutions, as well as facilitators and consultants in various fields such as consumer behaviour, marketing, and advertising.
