ECOBIZ CHALLENGE SEASON 4

EcoBiz 4 is incorporating the Jana Graduan Usahawan Hijau (JaGUH) approach. Hence the theme for EcoBiz 4 to 𝘥𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘭𝘰𝘱 𝘢 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘮𝘪𝘴𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘎𝘳𝘦𝘦𝘯 𝘚𝘰𝘤𝘪𝘢𝘭 𝘉𝘶𝘴𝘪𝘯𝘦𝘴𝘴 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘦𝘯𝘷𝘪𝘳𝘰𝘯𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘢𝘭 𝘰𝘣𝘫𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘷𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘔𝘢𝘭𝘢𝘺𝘴𝘪𝘢𝘯𝘴 𝘵𝘰𝘸𝘢𝘳𝘥𝘴 𝘢 𝘡𝘦𝘳𝘰 𝘞𝘢𝘴𝘵𝘦 𝘴𝘰𝘤𝘪𝘦𝘵𝘺.

The Career and Student Entrepreneurship Development Centre (PKPKP) Universiti Malaysia Sabah would like to invite all Faculties, Centres and Institutes to participate in this competition. The Malaysian Green Technology & Climate Change Centre will host a Roadshow/Briefing session tomorrow with students/lecturers/faculty members of University Malaysia Sabah on October 15^th  (tomorrow), from 4:00pm to 5:00pm. IDP points will be awarded for attendees.

We do strongly encourage interested applicants to read the Competition's Terms and Conditions, Applicant Guideline, and make an attempt to fill up the Application Form (Entry Form) before attending the Roadshow. It would allow them to have clarity about the competition and be able to ask questions during the briefing session.

- OPEN to Malaysian citizens from age 18 - 35 years old (this year), who are currently in their tertiary education in Diploma, Degree, Masters or even PhD

Regional Tourism Conference & Workshop (Virtual Conference): 20-21 October 2021 (.pdf) 

Dear Prof./Assoc. Prof./Dr./Mr./Mrs.,

We are pleased to invite you to join us in the virtual ’Regional Tourism Conference and Workshop’ with the theme ‘Revitalizing the Tourism Industry and Businesses in the New Normal: Transforming the Face of Tourism, Adapting and Reflecting on Resilience’ on 20 - 21 October 2021. The conference is organising by Borneo Tourism Research Centre (BTRC), Universiti Malaysia Sabah supported by the Asian Ecotourism Network (AEN), Malaysian Association of Tour and Travel Agents (MATTA), Sabah Tourism Board (STB) and Kinabatangan Corridor of Life Tourism Operators Association (KiTA).

The regional conference serves as an important platform to share and discuss the key issues, challenges and way forwards to revive the tourism industry. It presents what it takes in the journey to tourism recovery from different perspectives of the key tourism stakeholders. These include our changing perspective of change, adjusting to new normal, resilience thinking, adaptability and transformability and sustaining tourism business through resilience thinking and crisis.
