TUESDAY, 21 OCTOBER – A total of 71 Year Six pupils of Sekolah Kebangsaan (SK) Bukit Kalam made a study visit to Universiti Malaysia Sabah Labuan International Campus (UMSKAL) recently.
According to the group leader, Ustaz Solihin Saripudin, the visit was aimed to provide opportunities for Year Six pupils to know more closely the real experience in a Public Higher Learning Institution (IPTA).
He also hoped that the visit would be able to raise the motivation and enthusiasm of the students concerned to study hard to ensure they have the opportunity to pursue their studies to a higher level.
“We want to expose students to the real world of university life, including the opportunity to pursue their education to a higher level especially to UMS,” he said.
The visit to UMSKAL was among some planned activities after school for the students who had sat for the UPSR 2014. – SS (fl)
