UMS-HNU Capstone Design Program

The UMS-HNU Capstone Design Program, taking place from February 19th to 24th, 2024, is organized jointly by two universities and is being held at Hannam University in Daejeon, South Korea. The program involves 14 students from UMS and HNU.

Visiting Professor and Students Mobility from Universitas Halu Oleo, Kendari, Indonesia

Professor Dr. Hj Arifuddin Mas’ud, Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business at Universitas Halu Oleo, Kendari, Indonesia, leads the visit. The activities include lectures delivered by Prof. Arifuddin and Dr. Nitri Mirosea.

International mobility students from South Korea

The mobility program was conducted in Semester 1 of the 2022/2023 session. Ha Minyoung, Kim Jiyoon, and Hwang Jaeho, students from Dongguk University, participated in a one-semester exchange student program at the Faculty of Business, Economics, and Accountancy (FBEA).

Mobility to Cankiri Karatekin University, Türkiye

Irnah Binti Narui, a student of the International Business Program, has been awarded a scholarship by the ERASMUS+ Student Mobility Program and is presently attending Cankiri Karatekin University in Türkiye for the 2022 spring semester, which spans from March to July.

Mobility to Dongguk University Gyeongju Campus, South Korea

Ho Shu Jun and Yeoh Peyee, both enrolled in the Tourism Management Program, are spending a semester at Dongguk University's Gyeongju Campus in South Korea. Through the AIMS Mobility Program, they have been awarded scholarships to take courses in hotel management studies.

Autumn in my Heart E Mobility to Tokyo, Japan

The e-mobility program "Autumn in my Heart E Mobility to Tokyo, Japan," in collaboration with Wako University, was held virtually on 29 November 2021. It offered participants the opportunity to experience the essence of Tokyo without leaving their homes.

2020

A Winter Date in South Korea

The e-mobility program titled "A Winter Date in South Korea" was organized by FBEA and hosted by its AIMS counterpart, Dongguk University Gyeongju (DUG) in South Korea. It saw participation from 200 students through Microsoft Teams. During the event, two Korean exchange students at UMS delivered a presentation on Korean traditional games and the celebration of the Korean New Year. Additionally, Prof. Shin from Dongguk University demonstrated the preparation of a traditional Korean dish, kimchi.

2019

Winter Mobility Programme 2019

The Faculty of Business, Economics & Accountancy extends a warm welcome to a delegation of 16 postgraduate students from Beijing Union University, China, accompanied by Prof. Dr. Liu Yu. This group will participate in a Winter Mobility Program scheduled from December 15 to December 23, 2019.

International Short Course Program, Universitas Sebelas Maret, Solo Indonesia

Nur Afiqah Farhanah Affandy and Aiman Nadhirah Haji Morni, both undergraduate students pursuing a Bachelor in Business (Finance Management & Banking) HE06, participated in an International Short Course Program at Universitas Sebelas Maret in Solo, Indonesia, from November 17 to 22, 2019.

Exchange program at the Faculty of Economics, Universitas Andalas, Padang, Indonesia

Edzanfauzan Tamin, Nur Ain Fatihah Shamizan, Marinah Mani, Nurul Hidayah Fazilah Saharuddin, and Suriyana Jaya Sugua Feredin, five students from FBEA, participated in a semester mobility/exchange program at Universitas Andalas (UNAND), Padang, Indonesia during the first semester of the 2019/2020 session.

Daegu Catholic University (DCU) South Korea

Ariena Shaznida Mohd Sabri and Nur Fadilah Hashim, third-year students in the Tourism Management program (HP08), participated in a semester mobility/exchange program at Daegu Catholic University (DCU) in South Korea during the first semester of the 2019/2020 session.

International mobility students from South Korea, Indonesia, Cambodia, Vietnam, and China

26 international mobility students from South Korea, Indonesia, Cambodia, Vietnam, and China have successfully completed their one-semester mobility program at the Faculty of Business, Economics, and Accountancy, Universiti Malaysia Sabah.
