Minimum Entry Requirement
STPM
- Fulfils the University General Requirements
- Obtained a minimum Grade C (GPA 2.00) at STPM level in one (1) of the subjects: Business Studies / Economics / Accounting / Mathematics (M).
- Obtained a Grade E/8E in the following subject at the SPM level: Mathematics.
- Obtained minimum of Band 2 in the Malaysian University English Test (MUET).
STAM
- Fulfils the University General Requirements
- Pass in Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysia (STAM) with a minimum grade of Jayyid.
- Obtained a Grade E/8E in the following subject at the SPM level: Mathematics.
- Obtained a minimum of Band 2 in the Malaysian University English Test (MUET).
MATRICULATION / FOUNDATION
- Fulfils the University General Requirements
- Obtained a minimum of Grade C (GPA 2.00) at Matriculation/Foundation level in one (1) of the subjects: Economics.
- Obtained a Grade E/8E in the following subject at the SPM level: Mathematics.
- Obtained a minimum of Band 2 in the Malaysian University English Test (MUET).
DIPLOMA/EQUIVALENT
- Fulfils the University General Requirements
- Obtained a Diploma or any other Equivalent Qualification Recognized by the Senate of Universiti Malaysia Sabah.
- Obtained a Grade E/8E in the following subject at the SPM level: Mathematics.
- Obtained a minimum of Band 2 in the Malaysian University English Test (MUET).
INTERNATIONAL STUDENT
PLUMS (PART TIME)
Career Prospect
Graduates from human resource economics will be able to work in a variety of fields at the federal, state and local government level. Many economists work for corporations and help them understand how the economy will affect their business. Economists also work for research firms and think tanks, where they study and analyse a variety of economic issues.

Total payment for 3.5 years studies (excluding hostel fees):
