The Faculty of Food Science and Nutrition strives to be the centre of innovative academic excellence of international standard in food science and nutrition.
MISSION
Achieve academic excellence in food science and nutrition to attain international recognition in teaching & learning, research, publication and community service, as well as supplying skilled human resource in food related industries and producing students with wholesome personality, to deliver high productivity and quality within the context of development of the country, environment and societal aspirations.
OBJECTIVE
- Produce knowledgeable graduates who are trained professionals well versed in ethics and values to support various responsibilities in the field of food science and technology, food service and nutrition.
- To be a centre of excellence for study, research, training and consultancy in the field of food science and technology, food service and nutrition at the national and international levels.
CLIENT CHARTER
- Ensure that the waiting period for office counter services is less than five (5) minutes.
- Provide feedback to customers on e-Respon within three working days.
- Process internal applications (faculty) within three working days from the date of receipt of complete applications.
